Because foreigners are allowed to buy properties, getting overseas mortgage in Sweden is possible. Companies here grant loans of up to 75% of the property’s value, and with fixed terms for repayment plus 2% tax. The usual maximum time for repayment is 20 years. It is best to work with a real estate agent when purchasing a property, especially considering conditions that are unique to the buyer as a non-national.
